Music history was made in January 1985 when several of the recording industry's biggest names gathered for an all-night recording session to create awareness of the hunger epidemic in Africa. The single "We Are the World" featured the likes of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner and Willie Nelson and was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.
