Warning Shot

On a hazy night, police sergeant Tom Valens (David Janssen) witnesses a man fleeing a house. It seems he's the burglar the cops have been warned about, and Valens decides to give chase. When the perpetrator pulls a gun, Valens fires back, killing him. But when the police arrive on the scene, the weapon is gone, and the criminal appears to be a well-respected doctor. Alone and unable to prove what took place, Valens must fight to clear his name.
