When uptight geologist Gail Weston (Anne Archer) teams up with headstrong, freewheeling Texas oilman John Taylor (Terry Jastrow), the partnership is a test of wills. But soon, they discover something more valuable than black gold. Unsuccessful on their first dig, the two go separate ways, only to be lured back to the fields -- and each other. Richard Farnsworth and Mary Kay Place also star in this romantic comedy co-written by Archer and Jastrow.
