Jeff (Charles Bronson) is an independent hit man who falls in love and ends up on the wrong side of a double cross. In classic Bronson fashion, he gets revenge and the girl, but not before doing the tango with powerful crime boss Weber (Telly Savalas). Intent on having Jeff join his outfit, Weber won't take no for an answer, eventually resorting to blackmail, and when that fails, he simply hunts him like an animal through the city streets.
