The Broadway-staged version of this popular comedy (not the original 1982 film) is a warm, funny, energetic look at the nature of love, gender and the battle of the sexes. Julie Andrews stars as Victoria, an out-of-work singer in Paris whose life changes when she becomes female impersonator Victor, an overnight nightclub sensation. But her success is hilariously complicated when she falls for a macho Chicago gangster (Michael Nouri).
