Trigger, Roy Rogers' loyal horse, is abducted and held for ransom. Roy thinks his young friend Ted Conover (Michael Chapin) may have helped the kidnappers take the precious animal, but the boy soon proves his innocence by hindering the villains' plans. Now, it's up to Roy to get Trigger back and teach the horse thieves a lesson.
