Billy Thompson (Eric Szmanda) is a struggling young DJ from Nebraska who dreams of making it as a professional in the big city. When Billy hears of the World DJ Contest, he heads out to Los Angeles with his sights set on winning the grand prize. There, he meets Maya, a dancer from New York; Night Owl, a local DJ with a secret weapon; and several adversaries who will stop at nothing to win. Bree Turner, Romany Malco and Sticky Fingaz co-star.
