In her final film, Joan Crawford plays Dr. Brockton, an anthropologist investigating the mystery of Trog, an ice age creature that could be the missing link. When Trog escapes his cage and snatches a little girl, Brockton races to find the beast before the police, whom she fears will kill him if they get to him first. Michael Gough co-stars in director Freddie Francis's cult monster favorite.
