Roy Rogers is staying at the ranch of Col. Harkrider (George Cleveland), his daughter Kay (Dale Evans) and grandson Larry (Peter Miles), who's terrified of horses. Roy hopes to buy a wild stallion labeled as dangerous, but he's told the steed has been put to death. In reality, Monty Manson (Grant Withers) kept the horse to scare locals. When Manson's horse attacks Roy, it will take everyone, including Larry, to save him.
