Trash

  (1970)
Joe Dallesandro stars as a junkie (also named Joe) in this Andy Warhol production. Joe and Holly (Holly Woodlawn) live in a slum in New York's Lower East Side, and the two of them spend their days picking through trash and looking for their next fix. The film is raw with graphic depictions of drug use, sex and total nudity. Holly Woodlawn's crude character provided a muse for Lou Reed's hit song "Take a Walk on the Wild Side."
