This sci-fi thriller -- originally aired on Showtime -- served as the pilot for a television series inspired by the films Total Recall and Blade Runner. Set in the near future, the movie follows David Hume (Michael Easton), a detective with the Citizens Protection Bureau. With help from his android partner (Karl Pruner), Hume sets out to solve a succession of crimes perpetrated by the corrupt corporate executives who govern society.
