After Pamela Pearl (Trini Alvarado) -- the city commissioner's daughter -- and tough Brooklyn girl Nicky Marotta (Robin Johnson) meet in a psychiatric hospital, they run away and start living on the streets of New York, where they become punk rock heroes. As Pamela's father looks for her, radio DJ Johnny LaGuardia (Tim Curry) becomes the girls' champion. The soundtrack includes music from the Ramones, Patti Smith, the Cure and more.
