Korean War veteran Lucas Doolin (Robert Mitchum) returns from his military stint to find the family bootlegging business in deep trouble. Together with his two brothers, Doolin must battle aggressive T-man Troy Barrett (Gene Barry) and a crime syndicate scheming to take over the illegal supply of hooch in the area. Mitchum also produced, penned the screenplay, and composed and sang this cult classic's title song.
