The final season of this Emmy-winning drama finds baby boomers Hope (Mel Harris) and Michael (Ken Olin) wrestling with questions of family and faith when they must decide whether to circumcise their newborn son. In other events, Elliot (Timothy Busfield) also questions his religious upbringing, and through tragedy, Melissa (Melanie Mayron) and Susannah (Patricia Kalember) find a path to reconciliation.
