A long time ago in the village of Baghdad, the evil sorcerer Zig Zag (voiced by Vincent Price) takes possession of the three Golden Balls that protect the city. Tack (Matthew Broderick), a shy cobbler who pines for the exciting and beautiful Princess Yum Yum (Jennifer Beals), must get the balls back and, together with the princess, save the city. Academy Award-winning animator Richard Williams wrote and directed this animated feature film.
