When courageous newspaper editor Jim Martin (Onslow Stevens) goes on the offensive against corrupt San Francisco politician Andrew Cain (Sidney Blackmer) at the height of the California gold rush, wealthy miner Rick Nelson (Joel McCrea) reluctantly joins the crusade for justice. But things get more dangerous for Nelson when he falls for Cain's lovely lady friend Adelaide McCall (Yvonne De Carlo). Robert Parrish directs this classic actioner.
