In 1991, MTV changed the face of television when they selected seven young people to live in a specially designed apartment in New York City and have their every move recorded on camera. The result was a pop-cultural phenomenon that catapulted the seven participants -- all with strong personalities, quirks and unique ways of living -- to stardom as several months of their lives played out on television for all the world to see.
