Headstrong widow Martha Price (Maureen O'Hara) transports her daughter and a prize stud bull from England to Texas with the intention of cashing in on the bull. A downtrodden drifter, Sam Burnett (Jimmy Stewart), helps Martha on her journey and is tempted to scam her out of the bull. But in a moment of conscience (and budding attraction), Burnett clears a safe passage for Martha, daughter and their prize. Directed by Andrew McLaglen.
