But the heroic Americans refuse to talk. Based loosely on true events, this shocking story of courage and forbearance stars Dana Andrews, Richard Conte, Farley Granger, Sam Levene and Richard Loo. Producer Darryl F. Zanuck co-wrote the screenplay.
