When he loses his job, his wife and his kid, regular-guy Charlie (Mickey Rourke) is at the end of his rope. But his no-good cousin Paulie (Eric Roberts) offers him hope -- in the form of a plan to steal $150,000 and place a bet on a sure-to-win horse. But the caper goes haywire and puts the duo at odds with the local Mafia boss and the New York City police. Vincent Patrick pens the script, which is based on his own novel. Daryl Hannah co-stars.
