A seemingly impossible dream of playing baseball in the United States becomes reality for a group of youngsters from an impoverished Mexican city in this moving drama based on real events. After coaxing an ex-player (Clifton Collins Jr.) to coach them, Angel Macias (Jake T. Austin) and his friends establish a team and set off for America. The film follows their struggles and improbable victories as they compete in the Little League World Series.
