When the shoe polish manufacturer's daughter marries a count, the oyster king's daughter -- not to be outdone -- must have a prince in this wicked satire from comic master Ernst Lubitsch. Determined not to let his "princess" down, her mogul father finds a financially hard up royal and throws the couple a lavish ceremony. What follows, however, is not what the bride had in mind. Also included is a comic short about a tomboy masquerading as a man.
