When her 11-year-old cousin Fa (Suet-yee Si) goes missing, prostitute Lulu (Seli Xian) seeks help from her boyfriend, an unscrupulous undercover cop named Jan (Shawn Yue), who soon finds himself in the crossfire between rival mafia gangs. Chi-kin Kwok won Best New Director at the 2009 Hong Kong Film Awards for his slum-set fairy tale, which also stars Kai Chi Liu as mobster "Four-Eyed" Tong and Siu-Wong Fan as a homeless hit man.
