This gripping series collects the episodes from the final season of the television show starring the late Jeremy Brett, an actor long remembered for his thoughtful and mesmerizing portrayal of the brilliant detective created by author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Brett, who was dying when he filmed these episodes, brought grace and pathos to Holmes's final cases, including one in which he pretends to be gravely ill to catch a killer.
