Titian-haired beauty Helga Liné plays the title character, an alluring ancient siren who lives beneath the Rhine River -- and morphs into a reptilian creature that must feast on human hearts to continue ruling her aquatic kingdom. After she extracts a hearty meal from some nubile coeds at a nearby school, the townsfolk call in virile hunter Sirgurd (Tony Kendall) to dispense with the scaly beast in director Amando de Ossorio's grisly scare-fest.
