Scott Fitzgerald's unfinished novel about Hollywood and its denizens, this Elia Kazan-helmed drama tells the tale of Monroe Stahr (Robert De Niro), a 1930s studio head driven to succeed at all costs in his industry but pining for a lost love in private. Playwright Harold Pinter penned the script of this Academy Award-nominated film, which features Tony Curtis, Robert Mitchum, Jack Nicholson and Jeanne Moreau.
