Unlike the outspoken cops of American police dramas, Detective Constable "Dangerous" Davies (Peter Davison) is a gentleman who just so happens to find himself in ungentlemanly situations. In the first season of this British television series, Davies dodges a strange woman's obsessive affections, suspects a woman of killing her husband, and digs up clues with his partner, Mod (Sean Hughes), to help solve a murder that happened 20 years ago.
