Al Dodge (Tim Matheson) lives an emotionally withdrawn existence in the Arizona desert, but he must confront his past when the 6-year-old daughter he abandoned -- now a teenager (played by Kristen Bell) -- pays a visit. With help from his friends, Al learns that it's not too late to become a real father to his estranged daughter. Edward Asner and Sean Young co-star in this made-for-cable family drama.
