Ralph Macchio and Noriyuki "Pat" Morita reprise their roles in the popular film series' third chapter, which has Daniel (Macchio) defending his karate title in a grudge match -- against the sage counsel of mentor Mr. Miyagi (Morita). The fourth installment in the series finds Miyagi with a new pupil: 17-year-old firebrand Julie Pierce (Hilary Swank), who, mercilessly harassed by a group of neo-fascist male classmates, turns to Miyagi for help.
