From an early age Kelly (Daphne Zuniga) has been plagued by a reoccurring nightmare in which a man appears to be burnt alive. Now a young woman at college, Kelly must take part in an initiation prank that will turn out to have deadly consequences. Locked in a department store, her sorority friends are slowly being murdered; it's the night new blood is being pledged!
