The Homecoming

In this American Film Theatre adaptation of Harold Pinter's play, Teddy (Michael Jayston) brings his wife, Ruth (Vivien Merchant), home to visit his family, from whom he's been estranged for many years. Teddy's father (Paul Rogers) is a failure, and his uncle (Cyril Cusack) totters at the edge of senility. As if that weren't bad enough, his brothers (Ian Holm and Terence Rigby), are a slimy pimp and a brutish boxer, respectively.
