In a parallel story, his grown son, Michael (Al Pacino), extends operations to Cuba and contends with more betrayal and murder. The second film in The Godfather trilogy racked up Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director (Francis Ford Coppola) and Best Supporting Actor (Robert De Niro). Robert Duvall co-stars.
