I Once Had a Life
John Boorman won Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival for this chronicle of Ireland's notorious Robin Hood, Martin Cahill (Brendan Gleeson), who was killed by the Irish Republican Army in 1994. Cahill grows from a scrappy boy into an unremorseful adult with a penchant for stealing from the rich.
