In 1899 London, a depressed Capt. Henry Joyce (David Morrissey) -- distraught over the death of his wife -- joins the Suicide Club, a secretive aristocratic society that caters to the final desires of those willing to pay with their lives. When Captain Joyce meets Sara Wolverton (Catherine Siggins), however, he has second thoughts about his drastic decision in this film based on Robert Louis Stevenson's story "The Suicide Club."
