With his commanding officers dead, idealistic young Cpl. William Bryne (Randy Ryan) is suddenly thrust into a demanding leadership role. He must guide his men, who are lost and separated from their company, across hostile territory in search of help. Set during the Korean War, this film follows William's struggle to overcome death, dissension, hopelessness and self-doubt to lead his men into battle.
