In 1894, French aristocrat Baron Pierre de Courbetin (Louis Jourdan) vows to revive the ancient Greek Olympic games. This drama follows the triumphs and setbacks faced by the baron and William Sloane (David Ogden Stiers), the Princeton professor who assembled the first American team. Among the challenges are financial hurdles and a dubious public. Angela Lansbury, David Caruso and Honor Blackman co-star.
