The Face: Jesus in Art

There's no doubt that Jesus' image is as powerful as they come. This documentary that originally aired on PBS in 2001 takes a look at the many artistic images of Jesus that have appeared throughout thousands of years of art, as well as the ways the art has inspired onlookers. The film also explores how the views and representations of Jesus have changed, the various artistic mediums used and special effects designed to re-create past eras.
