Sonny Carson (Rony Clanton), a young boy from the ghetto, struggles to survive on the mean streets of Brooklyn in this true-life tale. The film chronicles Sonny's life through his years as an honor student in junior high school, his prison sentence for scamming a delivery boy out of money and his transformation after being released from prison. Based on Carson's autobiographical novel, this powerful film was directed by Michael Campus.
