America's sweetheart returned to the small screen in 1969, playing Doris Martin for a second season of her popular family sitcom. The sophomore season of the show sees Doris taking a job at Today's World, a San Francisco-based magazine to whose offices she commutes from her farm in Mill Valley. Michael Nicholson (McLean Stevenson) is her editor, and Myrna Gibbons (Rose Marie) is Doris's work sidekick. Denver Pyle co-stars.
