When American tourists get skyjacked and held hostage in Beirut, an elite team of U.S. commandos are deployed to rescue them. Starring tough-guy dream-team Lee Marvin and Chuck Norris as the squad leaders, Delta Force blends the dread of a disaster movie with the bluster of an action adventure. The film, which spawned several sequels, is based on the 1985 hijacking of a TWA jet and integrates many of the crisis's real-life events into the story.
