When his careless son-in-law (Martin Freeman) tangles with a dangerous loan shark, former safecracker Geoff Dresner (Warren Clarke) is forced to come out of retirement to protect his family. But when the job goes horribly wrong, Geoff is promptly thrown into jail, where an inexperienced young lawyer (Lee Williams) is the only protection he has from the tenacious detective (Hugo Speer) who's determined to make him pay.
