Based on Arthurian legends and featuring exquisitely detailed 14th-century sets and costumes, this British television series follows the adventures of Sir Lancelot (William Russell), dedicated Knight of the Round Table. Brave Lancelot battles marauding invaders, rescues damsels in distress and comes to the aid of villagers in need. These adventures also feature King Arthur, Guinevere, Merlin, Mordred and other legendary characters.
