The Addiction

This moody black-and-white film follows the transformation of philosophy grad student Kathleen (Lili Taylor) into a vampire after she's attacked in an alley. After recovering, she finds herself helplessly addicted to blood, lasting only from fix to fix like a heroin addict. She attempts to make sense of her bloodlust with the help of her philosophy studies and a mentor, Peina (Christopher Walken), but can she regain control of her life?
