Stuck in the Texas hinterland, good ol' buddies Lloyd (Lou Perryman) and Frank (Sonny Carl Davis) drink more than their share of beer and chase one get-rich-quick scheme after another, losing what little wealth they've managed to accumulate. But as the two buffoons pursue their latest brilliant idea, specters of genuine despair begin to loom. Eagle Pennell directs this moving, low-budget tragicomedy that also stars Doris Hargrave.
