Gary Cooper was a man of few words, but he made 'em all count. In a film that ranks alongside High Noon for drama and scope, Cooper plays a tight-lipped drifter who runs afoul of Judge Roy Bean (Walter Brennan). Cooper will have to keep his gunpowder dry if he expects to sidestep the trigger-fingered vigilantes out to get him.
