When a dedicated teacher is murdered during a carjacking, his estranged brother, Carl Thomasson (Treat Williams), goes undercover to investigate the crime. When the ex-Green Beret begins substituting at the urban school where his brother taught, he doesn't have any problem handling the kids. His troubles come when the clues begin to suggest that someone on the inside is responsible for the murder. Now, Thomasson must exact revenge.
