A tragic accident changes a family forever in this drama set in Montana. When 12-year-old Arnold (Jason Presson) accidentally kills his 17-year-old brother Eugene, Arnold's father (Robert Duvall) angrily vents his grief, his mother (Glenn Close) hides in fear, and his mean uncle (Frederic Forrest) gets in the way. Luckily, Arnold's wise grandfather (Wilford Brimley) tries to help the shattered family adjust. Linda Hamilton and Dean Cain co-star.
