In 1930s New York City, the purple-clad Phantom's longtime effort to crush a culture of evil pits him -- and his dashing alter ego, Kit Walker (Billy Zane) -- against megalomaniacal villain Xander Drax (played by Treat Williams). The film's stellar supporting cast includes Catherine Zeta Jones, Patrick McGoohan and Samantha Eggar.
