The joys and sorrows of three emotionally complex families in rural Vermont play out beneath the glow of a meteor shower in this character-driven drama from filmmaker Dorothy Lyman, who also co-stars. An Iraq veteran (Ed Blunt) faces one tragedy after another, a housekeeper (Kate Buddeke) contends with her adult son's paranoia, and a long-lost daughter (Heidi Armbruster) reunites with her mother (Lyman) in this meditation on loss and rebirth.
