At the fictitious Carolina Military Institute, flinty senior Will McLean (David Keith) is tasked with safeguarding Pearce (Mark Breland) -- the school's first black cadet. When it appears that Pearce has been marked for death, McLean begins an investigation that leads to a cabal of elite students who'll do anything to rid the institute of "undesirables."
